I always love working with newly engaged couples - I think it might be my favourite thing to photograph! Seeing, up close & personal, their love for each other as they look in each others' eyes reminds me of how amazing and how REAL love is. It's always wonderful to photograph the wedding, but I truly appreciate the intimacy and freshness of the engagement. It's an exciting and wonderful time for the couple, where they can celebrate their love without the hustle, crowds and pressures of the wedding day.

I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have once again witnessed the best gift from above - REAL LOVE! I wish this wonderful couple a lifetime of happiness, and I look forward to photographing them again on their wedding day.

Sweet Baby Girl

While I truly appreciate and enjoy every single client that walks through my studio doors, some clients are especially memorable to me. Like these ones. This baby had to be the most perfect thing I have ever my laid eyes on! Everything about her fell together so well for the shoot - her perfect little features, her non-traditional clothes, and the way she was so content throughout the breezy sitting! I loved the vibe of this family - mellow and "earthy." I really enjoyed this shoot. I hope this beautiful little girl brings a smile to your face and reminds you of all the beautiful things with which God has blessed our world!

Wow! I have been behind on my blogging! It's so hard to keep up with everything - website, blog, Facebook - and it sure gets pushed to the back burner when I am keeping so busy with all my wonderful clients!

I knew it was time for a new post, and I can't possibly choose from all the beautiful families who came through over the holidays. So I thought I'd share Todd and Christie, one of my engagement sessions from the summer. I loved how their photos turned out and thought it would be a good one to share.

Professional Wedding Photography

This gorgeous couple was photographed in May. Loved their wedding colours, and the way their eyes popped against their dark hair! This type of montage could be used as a custom-sized wall portrait or a double page spread in a wedding album. Congrats Heather and Ted; I wish you all the best!

GRADUATION

Grad 2010 is in full swing, all over the province! I love it! This is my favorite time of year - I get so excited to see the beautiful young adults, dressed to perfection, so happy for their achievements and excited for the next chapter in their lives. It is such an honour to work with these gorgeous and great young adults, and to capture this amazing milestone in their lives for them.

I sure have been behind on my blogging! The weather has been amazing, and all the weddings, grads, families, corporate functions and sexy ladies (boudoir!) have been keeping me on my toes! Not to mention the yard work and spring cleaning... I love this time of year, but it sure does keep me busy!

I have decided to share a few images from one of my recent family shoots. This family sure was a pleasure to work with - the kids were sweet as pie and listened so well!!! I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Spring Wedding

It's been a while since I've blogged, because I've been keeping very busy with shooting, retouching, designing and renos. One of the biggest things I am working on is the retouching from a wedding I shot at the beginning of March. It was such a glorious day, and I took almost 1700 photos! I couldn't have been happier for my bride and groom to be blessed with the sun shining brightly and all their friends and family gathered around to share in their lovely day. The weather was incredible, we got great photos, and I'm truly honored to have been a part of this beautiful couple's special day! I'm not quite done all the retouching yet, but here is a sample of what I have so far. Enjoy!

Well, I figured it was time to blog again. I'm still not used to this, but my blog is looking pretty sad with only 3 photos on it. So I thought I'd share my thoughts on a lovely couple I photographed about a month ago. They are both so sweet and kind, and they're so in love and all that shines through in every single photo! We even tried to do a "serious" photo, and they couldn't stop smiling and gazing at each other lovingly! How beautiful! I can't wait to shoot their wedding in August!

WOW, I can't believe I'm blogging! :)

Welcome to my new blog!

I'm just working the edits from a fashion shoot with two gorgeous girls. I've titled it "Brunette Beauties." Here's what I have so far!

Oh... and please be patient with me while I get this blog rolling. It's going to take some getting used to, and I'm going to have to try make some extra time in my day to keep up with this. But I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts and my work with my clients & friends!
